An automotive vehicle wherein an engine drive torque is distributed to left and right rear wheels (12) through a differential gear (10), and the rear wheels are steerable by a rear steering device including a rear steering mechanism (130-136) and a rear steering actuator (50) for operating the rear steering mechanism, and wherein the rear steering actuator (50) is disposed in a portion of a space between an underbody (13) of the vehicle and the differential gear (10), which portion is spaced frontwards away from a vertical plane which extends in a lateral direction of the vehicle and which passes a rear end of the differential gear. <IMAGE>
