摘要 Transmission data is spread by spreaders 21, 22 through two orthogonal codes generated by orthogonal code generators 11, 12. The spread signals are subjected to binary phase modulation with a given carrier wave by BPSK modulators 51, 52. They are then diversity transmitted from antennas 31, 32 positioned in differing spatial locations. A single antenna 100 receives all of the signals and decodes them using reverse spreaders 131, 132 on parallel channels. Received data is reproduced by selection or combining diversity techniques. An advantage is gained in not needing to know the location of a mobile receiver or what fading is subjected to it. A second advantage is in being able to transmit simultaneously to a plurality of mobile stations without experiencing fading effects.
