Method of treating fluid mediums and a rotary-pulsation device for carrying out the said method

The proposed method of treating fluid mediums involves treatment of the medium in question in a rotary-pulsation device, the medium being subjected to the additional acoustic action of the stator in the form of oscillations of varying frequency and amplitude; the frequency is varied by altering the rotor speed, while the amplitude is determined by the moment of inertia of the revolving rotor. The rotary-pulsation device contains one or more stators (10) so mounted in a housing (1) as to leave a gap which permits the stator (10) to execute three-dimensional oscillations by means of at least one support point. The stator can be mounted in the housing (1) by the central section in the region of rotation of the rotor (4); the central section can take the form of a conical or cylindrical shell, while the peripheral section can take the form of a disc or truncated cone. The rotating disc of the rotor (4) which generates three-dimensional oscillations in the stator (10) generates a radial flow of treated medium which passes through an inlet nozzle and thence through apertures (15) and the flow-through channels (13). The stators can have different individual oscillating frequencies depending on their different dimensions, O DELTA 1, O DELTA 2, O DELTA 1', O DELTA 2'.
