<p>The subject of the invention is a device for the deep-drawing of sheet material, of the type comprising a die formed by a cushion (2) made of elastic material, such as, for example, an elastomer, housed in a retaining vessel (1), means for preforming a sheet-metal blank (6) which are constituted by an outer slide-block carrying an upper blank-holder (4a), means for the final forming of the said sheet-metal blank (6), which are constituted by a central slide-block acting on a plunger (5) and a first means (10) for absorbing the excess volume of the cushion (2) in relation to that defined by the surface area of the finished part to be obtained during the final forming of the said part. The device also comprises at least one second means (20) for compensating for the excess volume of the cushion (2) due to physical characteristic variations in the material constituting the said cushion. <IMAGE></p> |
