<p>A key operated cylinder lock 11, to be attached to an outer panel 1 of a vehicle, includes a casing 12 accommodating a cylinder body. The casing has a drain hole 12a in a lower region for discharging water out of the casing and has first and second raised portions 12b, 12c. Above the drain hole, the first portion 12b is inclined relative to the axial direction of the key cylinder. The lower end of the first portion 12b extends to a lower part of the casing, spaced from the inner axial end of the drain hole 12a. In operation, water flowing the side wall of the casing is guided by the first portion 12b and can be diverted from the drain hole and prevented from sticking on the periphery of the drain hole.</p> |
