The feeding device conveys a loaded tape rapidly and includes a tape speed governor guide operating part located at a cam gear for driving a pinch roller and a tension arm, and a tape speed governor guide with a rotating member to be located between an A/C head and a capstern shaft to dislocate the tape from the A/C head. The device saves the time required for converting from FF/REW mode into PLAY mode to perform retrieving of the screen quickly.
