A device is specified for fitting a protective body consisting of insulating material to the end of an electrical lead having at least one core with a connected contact element. It consists of a support (1) which can rotate about an axis (A) and is fitted with at least three injection moulds (3), and of at least one injection-moulding device (2, 10) which is arranged in the region of the circumferential surface of the support (1). A guide track is fitted to a stationary part of the device in the region of the support (1), which guide track runs in the circumferential direction of the support (1) and consists of two parts which run concentrically with respect to the axis (A) of the support (1), are arranged one behind the other in the circumferential direction, have different radii, together extend over virtually 360 DEG , merge into one another at one of their ends by means of a transition piece of the guide track and, at their other ends, are located at the level of the loading position (I) of the injection moulds (3). The injection moulds (3) which are positively guided by the guide track are closed in their part having the smaller radius when they pass through said guide track, and are opened in the part having the larger radius.
