<p>Topical therapeutic compsns. contg. ingredients with irritant side effects also contain a substance P antagonist (I). (I) is (a) peptide esp. sendide or spantide II, (b) heterocyclic cpd. pref. selected from e.g. spirolactam, quinuclidine, azacyclic aminopyrrolidone, piperidine etc. or (c) nitrogen cpd. contg. one or more benzene rings pref. an ethylenediamine deriv. (I) is present in an amt. of 0.0001-5 (esp. 0.0001-0.1) wt.%. Irritants are selected from e.g. alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids, alpha- and beta-keto acids, retinoids, anthralines, anthranoids, peroxides, vitamin D and its derivs. etc. Compsn. may also contain e.g. proteins, protein hydrolysates, aminoacids, polyols, urea, sugars, sugar derivs. vitamins etc.</p> |
