The mini-disk player is top loading type in which the door is opened and closed by its sliding action back and forth. In the mini-disk player a guide hole (16) is longitudinally formed on an upper surface of a base plate (14) having a deck (12) with a turntable (10) and a pick-up, and a bottom of a door (18) corresponding to the upper surface of the base plate (14).
