<p>Two continuous bands (1,2) of absorbent paper pass on return pulleys (3,4). One band (1) passes on a set of return cylinders (5,8,9), then on take off cylinders (10,11) and finally onto a cutting cylinder (12). The other band (2) passes on return cylinders (13,14), then onto take off cylinders (15,16) and finally onto a cutting cylinder (17). There are corresponding cutting blades (18,19). The sheets from one band are cut with a displacement of a half length relative to the sheets of the other band which allows their V or W folding into a pile (20). This pile is guided between two cylindrical surfaces (21,22) to a separation post (23). All the sheets from one band are held for a time necessary to unthread a length of sheet and to create a break in the continuity in the folding of the sheets from the pile. This ensures separation of sets of sheets.</p> |
