PURPOSE: To improve the text input efficiency by a natural method where operator can use a text input device without paying his attention of his memory independently of his personal memory or the like by providing an input means, a dictionary means, a judging means, an output means, and a control means to perform a specific input processing. CONSTITUTION: An input part 2, a dictionary part 3, a control part 4 which executes a program to control a display part 1, the input part 2, the dictionary part 3, etc., and a memory part 5 are included. Input data is collated with each word in the dictionary in the stage before input of all of character data, namely, in the middle of input, and when not only all of character data coincides with a word in the dictionary but also it is judged based on the collation result including head and end coincidence judgement that input data is a unique word or one of a specific number of words or a word in a specific number of ranges in the dictionary, contents of words registered in the dictionary are read in, and the uninputted part of input data of a desired word is corrected or input data is displaced with dictionary register contents to eliminate a need of following input, and thus, the word is completely inputted by input of a smaller number of data. |
