PURPOSE: To provide a filter having a long effective life in addition to high adsorbing capacity and a high adsorbing speed and capable of being regenerated by washing. CONSTITUTION: An offensive smell filter for a mist exhaust hood is composed of an adsorbing filter layer consisting of a highly air permeable carrier material and the adsorbent with an average particle size of 0.2-2 mm fixed to the carrier material by an adhesive in an amt. of 50-400 g/l and capable of being regenerated by washing.
