PURPOSE: To obtain a process for producing wax patterns made of a photosetting resin used for production of small-sized industrial parts, noble metal personal fittings, etc. CONSTITUTION: A surface layer consisting of wax is formed on the surface of the photosetting resin in the process for producing the wax patterns made of the photosetting resin by irradiating the photosetting resin with a laser beam, etc., and molding the resin. The process for producing the wax patterns made of the photosetting resin in which the liquefaction of the surface layer consisting of the wax at about 40 to 100 deg.C is possible is provided. The process for producing the wax patterns made of the photosetting resin in which the surface lawyer consisting of the wax is formed by dissolving solid wax with the org. solvent is provided.
