<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically separate a bottommost sheet from a sheet stack by bringing a shoulder part of a screw to get in contact with a separator spring to be fixed to a frame for tightly fixing the shoulder part to the separator spring, and setting a screw head part so that force is not added to an elastic separator pad even when torque is added to the screw. SOLUTION: Shoulder screws 54, 55 are inserted into holes formed in a separator pad 26, a separator spring 27, and a frame 53 to be tightened, and the separator pad 26 is fixed to the separator spring 27 by head parts of the screws 54, 55. Shoulder parts of the screws 54, 55 are brought to directly get in contact with the separator spring 27, and the separator spring 27 is fixed to the frame 53 by the screws 54, 55. Next, the head parts of the screws 54, 55 are set so that almost no force is added to the elastic separator pad 26 even when torque is added to the screws 54, 55 after the shoulder parts of the screws 54, 55 are tightly fixed to the separator spring 27. An uppermost sheet or a bottommost sheet can thus be automatically separated from a sheet stack 14.</p> |
