PURPOSE: To provide a sound wave sensor transmitting/receiving sound waves by a vibrator with predetermined angles which can suppress processing costs for a mounting member low even when the mounting angle for the vibrator is required to be highly accurate. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic vibrator 11 is set via a holder 2 to a mount 14 allowing the ultrasonic vibrator 11 to be mounted with predetermined angles to a housing 15. The holder 2 is like a hat with a wide brim, comprising a cylindrical supporting part 21 for supporting the vibrator, a mounting part 22 to the mount 14 which is a peripheral part of the brim, and an adjusting part 23 between the parts 21 and 22. Since the adjusting part 23 is adapted to freely shrink/expand in a diametrical direction, an angleθS of a transmission axis aS to a road surface R can be adjusted, for example, by a force from a B direction.
