A mobile terminal having a self-generating charging method is provided to integratedly combine a battery pack with the terminal even without changing a structure of the terminal as possible while the battery is frequently charged without separate power, thus it is possible to realize portability and convenient usage. A battery pack(18) is detachably combined with a body unit. A rotating unit is rotatively mounted on one side of the body unit. A generator(25) is disposed within the body unit, and generates electricity on the basis of rotative motion of the rotating unit. A charging circuit(28) mutually connects the generator(25) with the battery pack(18) to charge the battery pack(18) with the electricity generated from the generator(25).
