PURPOSE: To provide the subject composition comprising a specific organopolysiloxane, surface active agents and water, having a specific particle diameter, excellent in transparency, the wettability to synthetic resin film and uniform film formability, useful as a releasant for films and sheets. CONSTITUTION: This composition consists of (A) 1-60wt.% of an organopolysiloxane having a viscosity of 10-1000000cSt. at 25 deg.C of the formula [R<1> is OH, a 1-6C alkoxy or a (halogen-substituted) 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<2> is a (halogen-substituted) 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group; (n) is 10-3000] (e.g. obtained by emulsion polymerization of an organosiloxane in an aqueous medium), (B) 0.1-20wt.% of a nonionic surfactant, (C) 0.1-10wt.% of an anionic surfactant, and (D) the rest of water, and has an average particle diameter of <=500μm.
