A tire tread rubber composition is provided to have improved wet traction without damaging wear resistance, rotation resistance, and processability. The tire tread rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of raw material rubbers, 30-100 parts by weight of carbon black or a mixture of carbon black and precipitated silica, and 5-30 parts by weight of a hydrophilic inorganic blend consisting of 30-70wt% of clay and 30-70wt% of polymer. The raw material rubber consists of 60-100 parts by weight of a solution polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber having a styrene of 20-50wt%, and a vinyl of 20-50wt%, and 0-40 parts by weight of a butadiene rubber.
