A directional indication sensing device of an automobile and a sensing method of the same are provided to detect a change of voltages of a power supply by using a cigar jack without changing an internal structure and an internal line. An input unit(100) receives power from a battery of a vehicle. A signal processing unit(120) includes an RC circuit part for removing DC signals from the received power and passing AC signals without low-frequency signals, and an operational amplifier for amplifying the AC signals. An A/D converter(130) is used for converting the amplified AC signals to digital signals. A control unit(140) detects a predetermined frequency by calculating the digital signals and determines an operating state of a directional indication lamp. An output unit(150) outputs a determined result of the control unit.
