LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce a noise while driving adjacent gate lines by preventing the gate lines from being simultaneously driven by a gate-on voltage. A liquid crystal display device includes plural gate lines, plural data lines, pixel arrays, a first gate driving circuit(810L), and a second gate driving circuit(810R). The pixel arrays are arranged on the intersections between the gate and data lines. The first gate driving circuit is connected to one group of the gate lines and drives the gate lines. The second gate driving circuit is connected to the other group of the gate lines and drives the gate lines. The first and second gate driving circuits drive the gate lines, so that one of the one group of gate lines is overlapped with one of the other group of gate lines for a predetermined time interval, while adjacent gate lines are not overlapped with each other.
