PURPOSE: To obtain a precise copy image by automatically making an adjustment by the image difference between an original image and the copy image. CONSTITUTION: This image processor is equipped with an image formation part that includes a 2nd ROM 111 which stores image data inside, a scanner part 101 which reads out an image, an image memory 112 which stores the read image data, an SCU 108 which processes the image data stored in the 2nd ROM 111 and image memory 112, and a semiconductor laser 106 which prints the image data. The SCU 108 prints a standard document in the 2nd ROM 111 by the image formation part, reads the printed standard document by the scanner part 101, and stores the obtained image information in the 2nd ROM 111 and also compares the stored data with the data on the standard image inside to detect density differences of the image at respective comparison points, and then differences in image density are digitized on the basis of the detected density differences and the state of a printing means is estimated according to the digitized differences in image density. |
