PURPOSE: To use a prepaid card in the system of an other issuing person. CONSTITUTION: When a card 10b is inserted into a terminal equipment 1a, an input/output device 2a reads data and a controller 3a judges the issuing person of the card. When the issuing person is judges to be the second issuing person who is other than the first issuing person issuing the card for this terminal equipment, the controller 3a uses a network 5 to remit usage charge from the account of the second issuing person to the account of the first issuing person. The controller 3a refers to the information on a data base 4a and performs the value conversion between cards. Thus, the use of service or the purchase of articles can be performed by using the card issued by the other issuing person, and the cards can be mutually used even between the cards which have different values. |
