PURPOSE: To obtain a vinyl chloride resin compsn. having good contour follow-up when used in extrusion molding wherein the cross-sectional contour of an extrudate is continuously varied. CONSTITUTION: This compsn. comprises 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride homopolymer, 20-200 pts.wt. plasticizer, and 5-30 pts.wt. acrylic resin having a methyl methacrylate unit content of at least 60wt.% and a wt.-average mol.wt. of at least 1,500,000, provided that the maximum draft ratio thereof (ratio of the take-off speed just before the breakage of threads of the compsn. to the extrusion speed thereof when the compsn. is extruded in the form of threads from an orifice of 1mm in diameter and 20mm in length at a cylinder temp. of 170 deg.C and at a shear rate of 1.2×10<2> s<-1> and taken off at an increasing speed) is at least 7. |
