PURPOSE: To improve measurement precision by reducing a cross-talk and to shorten a photographing time in such a manner that a semiconductor crystal and a surface of a substrate are arranged so as to face a collimator side and the semiconductor crystal of each X-ray detector is arranged to face a substrate of another X-ray detector. CONSTITUTION: This X-ray CT apparatus comprises an X-ray generating apparatus, a scanner, a collimator 400, an X-ray detector 500, and the like. The X-ray detector 500 provided for every slit 410 of the collimator 400 has a substrate 530 and a semiconductor crystal 510 having positive and negative electrodes 511 and 512 which generate electrons and holes by incidence of the X-rays. The detector 500 is arranged so that a face on which the above mentioned elements are provided faces the collimator 400 side and the semiconductor crystal 510 faces another adjacent substrate 530. Thus, the X-rays which entered the semiconductor crystal 510 are avoided to enter another crystal 510 by an X-ray shielding effect of the substrate 530, so that a cross-talk is prevented and a measurement noise is reduced, thereby improving the measurement accuracy.
