<p>PURPOSE: To sharpen the form, and form a pattern having high uniformity by using an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin as binder resin. CONSTITUTION: This black matrix forming ink composition is formed by use of a binder resin mainly consisting of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, a covering pigment, and a solvent, and an additive may be added thereto as occasion demands. As the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, a resin obtained by copolymerizing ethylene with vinyl acetate is generally used, and the weight ratio of the covering pigment to the binder resin is set to the range of 0.05:1-1:1. Thus, a sharp and uniform pattern can be easily and precisely formed on a glass substrate. Since an organic material such as the binder resin can be easily baked and removed from a transferred black matrix layer, a cathode-ray tube of high quality can be formed.</p> |
