PURPOSE: To enable Ni or Ni alloy of a base metal to be used as an electrode material by a method wherein a material to be reduced not to be turned into a semiconductor even if baked in a reducing atmosphere is used for a dielectric ceramic. CONSTITUTION: Dielectric ceramic 2 is composed of barium titanate, yttrium oxide, nickel oxide and cobalt oxide containing not exceeding 0.03wt.% of alkali metallic oxide. The main component of 100mol represented by formulas (0.0025<=α<=0.03, 0.0025<=β<=0.06, 0<β/α<=6, 0<X<=1, 1.000<=m<=1.035) contains MgO 0.5-3.0mol, MoO 0.05-2.0mol as sub-components. Furthermore, total 100wt.% of main and sub-components and a material containing Li2 O-RO-(Ti,Si)O2 (wherein R represents at least one kind of elements out of Ba, Sr, Ca, Mg,) base glass containing 0.2-3.0wt.% are included. Through these procedures, Ni or Ni alloy of base metal can be used as an electrode material. |
