PURPOSE: To easily set a desired kind of printing form by selecting the size of the printing form, judging the kinds of printing forms matching the size and listing them on a table, and selecting a desired kind out of the kinds of printing forms. CONSTITUTION: A central arithmetic processor 1 selects a form size out of a form size candidate group listed and displayed in the state being displayed on a display device 3 with a cursor through operation on a keyboard 4, and displays the selected size. When a confirmation button is shown with the cursor, the form kind matching with the selected form size is judged. When it is judged to be A4 size, a list of form kinds having the A4 size is displayed as selection candidates in a form kind list display area and when it is A3 size, a list of form kinds having the A3 size is displayed as selection candidates in the form kind list display area. A form kind is selected out of the listed form kind candidate group with the cursor and when a print button is shown with the cursor, a signal of the size, etc., is outputted to a printer. |
