PURPOSE: To revise a character form for a specified character. CONSTITUTION: When the chacacter form data are revised by inputted deformation information, when the fact that the data are specified characters to which corrective information correcting a deformation mode is added is decided, the form data are revised according to the corrective information. A flag for discriminating whether or not making an italic type is added to the specified character stored in a character ROM, and when the specified font of the inputted character data is an italic type font (S23.YES), whether or not making the italic type is discriminated by a discrimination flag. Coordinate transformation is performed according to the discrimination, and the character with a required form is generated. |
