PURPOSE: To record data in a card in place of a receipt and to make the control of purchase contents with data by recording the purchase contents of an article in the card where data is possible to be stored and outputting the contents so as to pass the card to a purchaser. CONSTITUTION: A reader 9 is the reader for bar code attached to selling article and is used in place of an input device 7 or jointly with the input device 7. A card mechanism 6 is a mechanism that an electronic card or a magnetic card 12 is freely attachable or detachable, fetches a card 12, records the data which has the same contents as that of a receipt and passes the card to a purchaser after the recording. In the input device 7, the selection keys for issuing a receipt 13 or performing a card record are provided and either one of the keys can be selected according to the desire of the purchaser. Further, the recorded card 12 is read by the exclusive reader composed of the reader and a display device (LCD), is read by an electronic pocketbook and is read by a personal computer. |
