PURPOSE: To obtain such a photosensitive compsn. that the photosensitive liquid has good storage property and when the compsn. is formed into a photosensitive layer of a photosensitive planographic printing plate or the like, the photosensitive layer has good storage property and can be developed with water, and to provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate having a photosensitive layer comprising this photosensitive compsn. CONSTITUTION: (1) This photosensitive compsn. contains a polymerizable compd., photopolymn. initiator, latex which can be dispersed in an org. solvent, and compd. having groups selected from phenol-type hydroxyl groups, amino groups and carbonyl groups. Further, the photosensitive planographic printing plate has a photosensitive layer comprising this photosensitive compsn. on a base body. (2) The photosensitive compsn. contains a polymerizable compd., borate complex of a cationic dye having absorbance for near infrared rays, and latex which can be dispersed in an org. solvent.
