PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily and freely attachably and detachably connect an optical waveguide and optical fiber with low loss by connecting an optical waveguide module to an MT optical connector by using guide pins. CONSTITUTION: A block 40 for connecting having holes 46 for guide pins on both sides and a master connector 52 are connected by using the guide pins 30. An optical waveguide chip 10 is inserted into the block 40 for connection and is butted against the connector. The optical waveguide chip 10 is adhered and fixed to the min. loss position by adjusting its position while monitoring the insertion loss of light and is separated from the connector, by which the optical waveguide module 50 is formed. |
