A METHOD OF DETECTING RADAR SIGNALS AGAINST A BACKGROUND OF SPOT MASKING INTERFERENCE BY FREQUENCY WITH ANGULAR MODULATION

There proposed a method of detecting radar signals against a background of spot masking interference by frequency with angular (frequency or phase) modulation and flowcharts of devices realizing the inventive method in radar stations with different signal processing.The method proposes that for detecting reflected radar signal against said interferences masking useful signals in the main receiving channel of the radar station there received interferences using an additional receiving channel coherent with the main, and characterized in that the output channel signals are multiplied, and resulted demodulated interference is supressed by spectral rejection and overmodulated by interference oscillation useful signal is than demodulated by multiplying with a specially-formed heterodyne signal and coherently stored.The proposed devices realize the inventive method for use in radar stations with cogerent correlation of signal processing, for radar stations with correlation-filter signal processing and for radar stations with incoherent filter processing of simple radio-frequency pulse.
