PURPOSE: To simultaneously measure a distribution of light quantity of even dot and a distribution of light quantity of odd dot by one scanning. CONSTITUTION: This LED head inspecting device comprises an LED head 15, a first light quantity sensor 51, a second light quantity sensor 52 arranged at a set distance from the first light quantity sensor 51, a moving table 24 for moving the first and second light quantity sensors 51 and 52 along an image- formation line, and a control device. The control device sets a first lighting area correspondingly to a slit position of the first light quantity sensor 51 and sets a second lighting area correspondingly to a slit position of the second light quantity sensor 52, and lights an LED 10 of odd dot in the first lighting area and an LED 10 of even dot in the second lighting area. The light quantity of each LED 10 of odd dot in the first lighting area can be detected in sequence by the first light quantity sensor 51 and the light quantity of each LED 10 of even dot in the second lighting area can be detected in sequence by the second light quantity sensor 52. |
