FIBER MIXTURE, FORMED ARTICLE OF FIBER AND PRODUCTION OF THE FORMED ARTICLE OF FIBER

PURPOSE: To obtain a formed article of fiber resistant to stuffiness because of large air and moisture permeability; excellent in moisture absorption; having high shape stability because of a low residual compressed strain; light and soft, and at the same time excellent in yielding resistance; and comfortable in use. CONSTITUTION: The objective fiber mixture is composed of 40-80wt.% of a hollow-shaped blend fiber A made of a blend of a polyetheresteramide R1 (1) with a polyester R2 (2) and having hollow parts, and 20-60wt.% of a conjugate fiber B consisting of a core part of a polyester R3 and a sheath part of a polyester R4. The polyester R4 has a melting point lower than the lower melting point between the polyester R3 and the blended fiber A. The weight ratio expressed by R3/R4 is in the range of 40/60 to 80/20.
