<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration and destruction of nonlinear resistance elements by the static electricity generated at the time of production stages and assembly stages and to stabilize the characteristics of these nonlinear resistance elements by specifying the constitution of the nonlinear resistance elements. CONSTITUTION: Electrodes 5 for anodic oxidation consisting of first electrodes are constituted to be separated by an etching treatment in such a manner that these electrodes are self-aligned by connecting electrodes 8 consisting of second electrodes. Namely, signal electrodes 4 are held connected by the electrodes 5 for anodic oxidation at the time of an anodic oxidation treatment. The sepn. of the electrodes 5 for anodic oxidation by separating sides 10 consisting of nearly the same side as the side of the connecting electrodes 8 is made possible by executing the etching treatment using the connecting electrodes 8 consisting of the second electrodes as a mask after inspection of, for example, a liquid crystal display panel. Then, the deterioration in the characteristics of the nonlinear resistance elements in the stages entailing the generation of the static electricity by a stage for printing the first substrate having the nonlinear resistance elements or a stage for subjecting the surfaces of the oriented films to orientation treatments of the oriented films by rubbing with cloth is prevented.</p> |
