摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a light beam heating device in which reproducibility of heating conditions is stabilized in spite of the fluctuation in the distribution of light intensity due to the electrode consumption of an emission lamp. CONSTITUTION: The light intensity in the center of the light receiving end of an optical fiber 5 is detected by a photodetector 8 located in the same position; the light intensity signal converted by a photoelectric converter 9 is inputted in a feedback computing element 10; and the light energy is calculated that is incident on the optical fiber 5. Meantime, a correction factor is calculated from a light intensity signal in the case where a specific current is supplied when the emission lamp 1 is new and when the electrode is consumed; the setting value of an output setting unit 15 is corrected; then, a difference from the output value of the feedback computing element 10 is amplified by an error amplifier 17; and, in accordance with the result, the quantity of light from the emission lamp 1 is adjusted by varying the output of a power circuit 12. Thus, the light energy incident on the optical fiber 5 is controlled in accordance with the setting value of the output setting unit 15, so that a stable heating characteristic is obtained.
