PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of vibration-absorbing function to be received from sleepers by coating a high-damping rubber layer with a rubber layer having a restitution coefficient higher than that of the high-damping rubber layer, and by integrally forming both the layers to constitute the vibration damping pad for a track. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of grooves 6 are formed in parallel along the longitudinal direction on both the upper surface 4 and the lower surface 5 of a vibration damping pad 3. The respective grooves 6 of the upper surface 4 of the vibration damping pad 3 and the grooves 6 of the lower surface 5 are formed so as to be dislocated in the width direction to each other. The vibration damping pad 3 is coated by the rubber layer 2 formed on the upper surface 4 of the vibration damping pad 3 around a high damping rubber layer 1, by the rubber layer 2 forming the undersurface 5, by the rubber layers 2 forming the front and rear surfaces, and by the rubber layers 2 forming both the right and left side surfaces. The grooves 6 being formed on the upper surface 4 of the vibration damping pad 3 are formed on the upper-side rubber layer 2, while the grooves 6 being formed on the undersurface 5 are formed on the lower-side rubber layer 2. When the vibration damping pad 3 is vulcanizedly formed by means of a rubber mold, these grooves 6 are integrally formed. |
