PURPOSE: To prevent that a connector is assembled on a base plate in leaving the fitting of both first and second connector elements being incomplete as well as in a state that both first and second lead wires are not conducted with each other intact, and further forwarding the assembly operation of an air bag module, from occurring. CONSTITUTION: A connector 1 is supported on one side of a base plate 10 by means of a pair of holding arm pieces 11. In this case, the connector 1 and these paired holding arm pieces 11 are not engaged with each other unless both first and second connector elements 3 and 5 themselves are completely fitted with each other and an overall length L1 of the connector 1 is set to be less than an interval DL between both first and second keep arm pieces 12 and 13. Accordingly, insofar as the connector 1 and these arm pieces 11 are not engaged with each other, an engaging arm 29 installed in a cover member 15 and an engaging projection formed in the second keep arm piece 13 are not engaged with each other. In addition, barring an engagement between the engaging arm 29 and the engaging projection, a projection 31 formed in the cover member 15 interferes with the air bag module, disabling the assembly operation of this air bag module.
