A domestic cupboard has two storage trays on rollers. When the lower one (28) is pulled out, it first moves past the upper tray for a part of its path and then pulls the upper tray out in synchronism using a special catch (32). The offset of the lower tray is created by the difference in length between the two trays and thus by delayed action of the catch. The catch is a spring-like bracket which forms a slot in which slides a peg attached to the upper tray. The free end (nose) of the catch is angled upwards.
