A latch for a live wire of a transformer for power distribution is provided to improve the operation efficiency of a branch sleeve by drawing two primary lead wires to one branch sleeve to connect the wires to a cutout switch. A first connecting unit(110) has a first connecting groove(111) open at both sides, a coupling hole(117) at the inner circumference, a first receiving groove(112) for receiving a coating of an electric wire, a first installing groove(113) with a larger outer diameter than the first receiving groove(112), a pair of fixing protrusions(114) at the upper part, and a first screw unit(115) at one side of the outer circumference. A second connecting unit(120) has a second connecting groove open at both sides, a second receiving groove to be connected with the coating of the electric wire, a second installing groove with a larger diameter than the second receiving groove, an inserting groove(124) for connecting the fixing protrusions(114), and a second screw unit at one side of the outer circumference. A pair of connecting rings(130) are elastically inserted between the first installing groove(113) and the second installing groove to prevent the separation of the electric wire connected to the first and second connecting units(110,120). A protective packing(140) surrounds the first and second connecting units(110,120), and has a coupling groove(141) with the same shape as the outer circumference of the connecting units(110,120), a nut unit(142) for coupling the first and second screw units(115), and an opening hole(143) at one side. A branch unit(150) is installed at the lower part of the first connecting unit(110) to receive the power of the electric wire connected through the first and second connecting units(110,120). |
