TERMINAL AND DISPLAY METHOD FOR THE SAME

A terminal and a display method for the same are provided to display at least one button-type image corresponding to an area contacted on a display member, which is prepared in the terminal and of which the transparency is previously set up, among prepared button-type images through the display member by using at least one button equipped with the terminal, thereby improving convenience in the operation of a terminal user which wants to user a specific function among various functions of the terminal. A display method for a terminal comprises the following steps of: displaying at least one or more button-type images through a display member prepared in the terminal by using at least one or more buttons equipped with the terminal(610); enabling the terminal to recognize an area contacted on a display member and selecting one of the displayed button-type images(620); enabling the terminal to update the at least one or more button-type images in correspondence with the selected result(630); and displaying the updated button-type images through the display member by using the at least one or more buttons equipped with the terminal(640).
