TERMINAL AND DISPLAY METHOD FOR THE SAME

A terminal and a display method for the same are provided to display one or more button-type images corresponding to an area contacted on one of prepared button-type images through a button equipped with the terminal, thereby securing convenience in the operation of a terminal user which wants to user a specific function among functions of the terminal however many terminal functions are. A terminal comprises the followings: a display button(120) which is operated by a contact and displays at least one or more button-type images in response to a control signal; and a control unit(130) which generates the control signal for instructing the display of the at least one or more button-type images corresponding to an area contacted on the display button among prepared button-type images. The prepared button-type images include a button-type image for indicating a function performed by the terminal and at least one of an upper function and a lower function of the function.
