METHOD OF REFINING ALCOHOL-RAW FOR ALCOHOLIC DRINK MAKING

FIELD: alcoholic industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves chemical treatment of alcohol-raw with potassium permanganate in alkaline medium, passing through the sand filter at rate 3-5 ml/hr and macroporous carbon filter at pore size 1-3.6 sm/g at rate 2-3 ml/hr. Then product is diluted to 60-70 vol. % and fed to ion-exchange purification at additional dilution to 40-50 vol. %. Final purification is carried out on microporous carbon filter at pore size 0.24-0.48 sm/g at filtration rate 0.5-1.0 ml/hr. Prepared aqueous-spirituous high quality mixture can be used directly for alcoholic drinks making. EFFECT: improved refining and purification.
