FIELD: information carriers for identification or credit cards. SUBSTANCE: information carrier has at least three layers which are connected to one another. Middle and upper layers are made from opaque materials while lower layer is made from transparent or reflecting material. Said layers have reflecting diffraction patterns which direction, step and shape of lines conform to condition of concentration of half of light which enters pattern to spectrum of some non-zero order defined for this pattern. In addition it conforms to condition of coincidence of directions for diffraction light beams. Lower layer directs to red part of spectrum, middle layer to green, upper layer to blue part. Direction for diffraction light beams coincides with direction for verification of information carrier. This direction should be no more than 50 degrees with respect to plane of information carrier. Color identification picture has zebra-strip pattern and is generated by means of removal of material in some part of carrier down to depth of either upper or both upper and middle opaque layers using laser cut. Carrier handles either text or graphic pictures which are produced by means of removal of in some part of carrier down to depth of either upper or both upper and middle opaque layers using laser cut.
