FIELD: chemistry of organofluorine compounds. SUBSTANCE: process comprises preparing 1,2-dichloro-1,2,2- trifluoroiodoethane-vinyl acetate addition product at first stage in the presence of sodium dithionite and sodium bicarbonate mixture in aqueous acetonitrile solution, treating the first stage product with zinc suspension in ethanol and hydrochloric acid at second stage and subsequently extracting the second stage product with chloroform or methylene chloride or carbon tetrachloride, distilling off solvent and treating the second stage product with zinc dust in glycol in at 130- 150 C at third stage. The claimed process makes it possible to considerably simplify synthesis of 1,1,2- trifluoro-1-buten-4-ol of formula: CF=CF-CH-CH-OH due to using standard equipment, accessibility of essential reagents, saving energy resources, making process safer, attaining quite high yield of intermediate and final products. EFFECT: simplified process and lower energy requirements. |
