FIELD: analytical chemistry; may be used to determine hydrogen fluoride in systems monitoring quality of environment, particularly, of air in working zone, of gas ejections of industrial enterprises and while conducting scientific research. SUBSTANCE: increased sensitivity and timeliness of analysis are achieved by composition of sensitive element for determination of hydrogen fluoride in air which includes colourimetric reagent - alizarin, lanthanum chelate, acetate buffer solution, glycerine and water to ensure optimum conditions for flow of reaction as well as binder, cellulose with following proportion of components, per cent by mass: alizarin, 0.003-0.019; lanthanum, 0.0072; acetate buffer solution (pH = 4.5), 0.6-0.8; glycerine, 44.0; water, 1.0-3.0: cellulose, the balance. EFFECT: increased sensitivity and timeliness of analysis. |
