FIELD: pistols intended for use with cartridges of different purpose. SUBSTANCE: the invention provides feeding of the next cartridge and firing of a shot, i.e. for entire cycle of pistol functioning, by a single actuation of the trigger as a single drive member. The pistol excludes a random situation of presence of a mainspring in cocked state, i.e. provides for guaranteed safety and convenience in use. The pistol provides for guaranteed use of fired cartridge case or misfired cartridge, as well as optimization of trajectory of cartridge feed. In the given case use is made of the principle of complete modulation with possibility of use of body of slide type. Cartridge is extracted from magazine into cup 6 during slide motion up to the moment of cartridge feed. Fired cartridge case is extracted through slot 12 by ejector 22.
