FIELD: designs of rectifying towers. SUBSTANCE: sheet steel cylinder of rectifying tower has vertical tubular body whose hollow accommodates packing with trays. Packing is formed of casings arranged in stories and square in cross-section with internal size of side D in plane perpendicular to body vertical axis. Each casing is turned through 90 deg relative to vertical axis and to adjacent casing. Mounted vertically in each casing are trays in the form of corrugated plates of constant height b, corrugation constant height c and constant corrugation pitch h, constant angle "α" of corrugation inclination relative to body vertical axis equal to 30-60 deg and constant length l equal to size of side D to ensure high unification of plates and packing as a whole. Plate height b equals casing height. Plates after installation into casing are engageable with one another by tops of corrugations inclined in adjacent plates in mutually opposite directions. Body is embraced with shell from heat- insulating material. Secured to ends of the body are upper and lower circular cover plates having fastening member for locking in body extreme casings. Fastening member may be made, for instance, in the form of flange facing radially inside which partially covers the end of respective casing. To ensure tightness of sheet steel cylinder when it is joined with adjacent sheet steel cylinder, this sheet steel cylinder is screwed with internal thread on the external thread of cover plate of the adjacent sheet steel cylinder, and sealing packing is installed between cover plates. To improve locking of extreme casings, sheet steel cylinder is furnished with spacer made in the form of vertical plates tied to each other by their middle parts. Vertical plates form crosswise, in plan, member whose end sections are located in angle zones of body cross-section. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl, 5 dwg |
