The feeding bottle, comprising a transparent cylindrical body, has at least one zone where the body has two walls (4, 5) with a sealed space (2) between them containing a chemical compound (6) which changes colour at a temperature of between 35 and 45 deg C. The body of the bottle is of polycarbonate, and the chemical compound is embedded in a translucent polymer-based material which is fixed to one of the two walls (4, 5), eg in the form of an adhesive strip attached to the inner wall (4). The inner wall of the twin-wall zone of the bottle forms an integral part of the body, while the outer wall is made separately and sealed to the inner one, eg by welding. The two walls are also connected in the zone of the bottle base by a series of studs (8) on one wall welded to the other one.
