The proposed welded assembly (1) comprises a first part (2) in the form of a plate and a second part (3) in the form of a bracket which is welded on both sides with two welds (5a, 5b) when placed against the broad face (4) of the first part (2). A recess (7) extending in the longitudinal direction of the welds (5a, 5b) is provided in the contact surface (6) of the second part (3) which lies in contact with the first part (2); the flanks (7a, 7b) of the groove run off into the respective melt zone (S) or weld (5a, 5b) or into the respective incandescent zone (G) which becomes incandescent during welding. |
